The school celebrated SNAG from March 10th-14th. An action packed week full of fun activities and competitions was organised. Each class decorated their door with a response to an Irish book at the start of the week and took part in a Tráth na gCeist. There was a treasure hunt as Gaeilge on Tuesday. On Wednesday Johnny Johnston was our seanachaí sa Tí. He shared his art of story telling with the senior classes. Our annual céilí dancing was held in the PE hall on Thursday. There was also an Art competition based on na Seanfhocail.
This year our dress up day had the theme “Bígí glas le chéile”. Every child dressed up in green on Friday March 14th as it is linking with our green school committee’s global citizenship fundraiser. The money raised will go to Saku in Tanzania. The prize winners from the week were announced on Friday afternoon after the school Ceolchoirm (Concert).
